Bring your work boots and your gloves and prepare to get a little dirty at ICUEE 2001. The biennial conference, owned and managed by the Equipment Manufacturers Institute, will be held Sept. 25-27, 2001, at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.

ICUEE 2001 features the latest in equipment, services and technological advances in the utility and construction industries. The show will offer more than 1 million sq ft of exhibits as well as informational seminars from industry experts and the opportunity to get behind the controls of some of the newest equipment and operate it in job-like conditions.

Exhibits

ICUEE 2001 will host more than 900 exhibitors in its indoor and outdoor exhibit space. The outdoor exhibit area shows equipment digging, lifting, carrying, trenching, boring and cutting, allowing attendees to see the equipment in action, operate it, compare it to others and buy it. The four outdoor venues exhibit the equipment at ground level, underground or overhead.

Seminars

ICUEE's daily seminars give attendees a chance to step out of the dirt. The presentations, hosted by industry leaders, will offer the opportunity to learn what is new in each line of work. Tailored to specific industries, seminars will cover the latest trends, techniques and tools affecting all utility, electrical power, telecommunication and underground construction companies.

Attendees

ICUEE attendees come from several key industries, including electric, gas, water, sewer, telephone, road construction, commercial and residential construction, rental yards, site preparation and cable. More than 15,000 people are expected to attend this year's show, including CEOs, management executives, purchasing agents and equipment operators from the Unites States, Canada and more than 40 foreign markets.
