VERSATILE SUPER DUTIES.(Ford's F-650/750 Super Duty Chassis Cabs)

Ford's F-650/750 Super Duty Chassis Cabs offer versatility with three different diesel engines available -- a 5.9L Cummins ISB, a 7.2L Caterpillar 3126B and a 7.3L Ford Power Stroke; three different factory-built cab styles -- Regular Cab, SuperCab and Crew Cab; and two trim levels -- XL and XLT. In addition, F-650 Super Duty offers 22,000- (new for 2002), 24,500- and 26,000-pound GVWR models, while F-750 Super Duty offers standard 30,000-pound GVWR and optional 33,000-pound GVWR models. Several wheelbases on each model also are available. The versatility of both the F-650 and F-750 Super Duty is also reflected in the range of standard and optional axles. Front axle ratings range from 9,000 to 12,000 pounds, with rear axle ratings ranging from 17,500 to 23,000 pounds. Rear axle ratios range from 3.91 to 6.83. The 3.91 ratio axle is a recent addition, and provides a higher top speed as well as better fuel economy and overall performance.
