Pitman Utility Products moves to new facility

Pitman Utility Products has a new production, parts, and installation facility. In early 2004, the firm relocated to a new facility in Grandview MO to keep up with market demands. Kris Johnson, president of Pitman, says the new facilities will allow the manufacturing/installation business to be separated from the parts/service business. Two buildings on the same property will be dedicated to the different aspects of the business.

All Pitman digger derrick manufacturing and installations will take place in a dedicated facility. This new operation gives the company room to expand production and to perform customer and distributor installations.

The second facility houses corporate offices and a parts distribution center. A new computer system lets Pitman maximize control of inventory and production.
